65% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 5% Petit Verdot. Aged 12 months in 30% New and 70% 1 year barrel. Full bodied and tangy with soft velvety tannins. Ripe berry fruit with fresh acidity. This is the second wine of Château Pichon Baron which is a classified Second Growth Bordeaux. Can be enjoyed young or aged 15 years or more.
